Why Tarot?
It’s hard to sum up what tarot means to me. So hard, in fact, I had to draw a card just to write this! And what did I draw? The Devil in reverse. (Yes, I read reversals.) The Devil represents all that oppresses us: our addictions, our mental health issues, those who use and abuse us. It represents absolute materialism, denial of spirit, denial of our own true power.
And in reverse, it means throwing off all those shackles and getting free.
Yet again, the cards don’t lie. Tarot has been absolutely vital in my liberation – from self-sabotage and depression; from ancestral patterns of abuse; from a lifetime of shame and doubt. Without tarot, I would never have learned the subtle (and not-so-subtle) signs that life always offers, those little nudges from beyond, the comedic honesty of dreams. I would never have seen the repeating patterns in my personal life – or in society at large – if I hadn’t seen the repeating cards, drawn again and again and again. Far from random, tarot can be downright obstinate.
If used well – accorded due respect as sacred guidance and not abused or overly relied on (even a reversed Devil can turn upright if you’re not careful!) – tarot and oracle cards can transform you life. They can clarify your hunches, offer second opinions, or slap you with those hard truths you need to face. They can point out your blind spots and highlight your wisdom. Most importantly, they can guide you through your own inner-workings, helping you claim your natural strengths and proclivities, bringing you ever closer to your truth.
So, if you want to get free with tarot, I’m here for you. I’ll help you turn that Devil upside down.
In-Person Sessions
These are not your average tarot readings. There is no limit on the number of cards drawn, as I act intuitively, choosing from an array of tarot and oracle decks based on the nature of the inquiry and your own personal vibes. I use both my knowledge of the cards and my penchant for pattern recognition to parse unique, thought-provoking messages. Occasional channeled messages come through, as well. Be ready to learn something!
